e-Bike Solar Charging Station
The e-bike Solar Charging Station – We were approached by the very well known high street retail outlet, They required an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution to charge their employee’s e-bikes. We deigned a tailor made solution to meet their exact needs. In the design we used Victron Energy Equipment, we have found that in our experience the Victron Energy Range of Products are best suited to these types of projects due to the diverseness of their product range.

e-Bike Solar Charging Station – How it works.
The e-bike solar charging station works by generating energy via solar panels, storing the energy in a battery bank and then converting it to AC in order to power the e-Bike Battery Chargers. We designed the system to incorporate the Victron Color Control GX which is an all in one monitoring solution for the Victron product range. This unit gathers the data from the inverter, the solar charge controller and the BMV Battery Monitor and displays the data on it’s screen. The Victron Color Control GX (when connected to the internet) also send all the data to the VRM Remote Monitoring Platform. This platform is free to use and is hosted by Victron Energy BV. Via the platform a person or business can remotely monitor how their installation is performing, you can even adjust most of the system settings remotely as well.
